What you’ll do:

The Brass Tacks

Apply payments Research and solve payment discrepancies Process credit card payments and credits Make adjustments to accounts as needed Assist the sales effort in establishing guest credit in accordance to policies and procedures, to include the application process, reference checks and other credit related activities Provide customers with accurate and timely invoices, statements and schedules Respond effectively to guest inquiries in a timely fashion. Notify Controller of all issues and/or disputes. Oversee Property Accounts Receivable and Notify Controller of all issues and/or disputes. Maintain an efficient collection process Ensure proper internal control by monitoring guest ledger, advance deposit ledger and any other related subsidiary ledgers Maintain regular attendance, which may vary according to the needs of the business Act as Property General Cashier Act as Property Accounts Payable Specialist Act as Property Opera Expert Perform any additional duties as assigned by Controller

The Nitty Gritty

High School Diploma required 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Position requires excellent spoken and written English communication skills Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents. Ability to handle issues with integrity and confidentiality. Ability to work mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to practical situations. Must have proven proficiency in working with computers and computer programs, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Property Management Systems and Great Plains Accounting Software a plus.
