We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of medical claims, ensuring efficient revenue cycle management. This role requires strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding, and HIPAA regulations. The Medical Billing Specialist will work closely with healthcare providers to submit claims, manage denials, post payments, and verify insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit medical claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid claims.

• Manage claim denials and work with insurance companies to resolve issues.

• Post payments and adjustments accurately to patient accounts.

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.

• Utilize medical billing software for efficient claims processing.

Required Skills
