Medical Billing Specialist

You’ll be the champion behind the scenes who makes sure our life-changing therapies get funded., and because we value real work-life balance, you’ll work a steady Monday through Friday schedule—leaving your weekends completely free to skip the Strip traffic, hike Red Rock, or catch a Golden Knights game.

What you’ll do here:

Track down approvals: You’ll team up with our Lead Billing Specialist to hunt down insurance authorizations, fill out Nevada Medicaid FA-7 paperwork, and gather doctor’s orders.

Process patient claims: You’ll handle the billing and adjustments for our therapy teams (PT, OT, speech, nursing, and dietitians), keeping things accurate so we don't hit any speed bumps.

Be the insurance whisperer: When insurance companies deny a claim, you won't sweat it. You’ll figure out why, fix it, rebill it, and make sure our services are fairly reimbursed.

Audit clinical notes: You’ll partner with our Rehab Coordinator to double-check that our billing codes match up perfectly with the clinical notes and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.

Keep us on track: You'll report adjusting entries to the manager on time and keep all patient data strictly confidential and secure.

What we’re looking for:

Some solid experience: You have at least one year of experience under your belt with medical billing, accounts receivable, or collections.

Comfort with tech: You’ve used Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems before and don't mind heavy data entry.

An eye for detail: Excel doesn't scare you, you've got a sharp eye for spotting math errors, and you take pride in accurate work.

A reliable professional: You know how to prioritize your day, manage time under tight deadlines, and treat sensitive information with total discretion.
