Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to manage purchasing activities, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials for engineering projects. This role will be essential in maintaining efficient supply chain operations and supporting our project teams with the resources they need. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for effective communication with domestic and international suppliers.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for daily procurement and purchasing activities
- Prepare purchase orders, vendor documentation, and other procurement-related records
- Track purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and follow up with suppliers on order status
- Maintain and update procurement records, supplier information, and purchasing documentation
- Assist with obtaining supplier quotations and comparing pricing as requested
- Coordinate with internal departments to support purchasing requests and material availability
- Assist with data entry and record maintenance in the ERP system or other procurement software
- Organize procurement files and ensure documentation is accurate and complete
- Provide bilingual communication support with suppliers and internal teams in English and Mandarin
- Perform other procurement and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 1+ year of procurement, purchasing, administrative, or office support experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of purchasing procedures and procurement documentation preferred
- Experience with ERP systems or procurement software is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
