Manager, Procurement Shared Services
Location: Melrose Park, IL 60160
Duration: 6+ months with possibility of extension and FTE
Shift: Standard shift
Job Summary
The Manager, Procurement Shared Services leads U.S. operational purchasing activities and is responsible for ensuring procurement process excellence, compliance, and service delivery. This role oversees a multi-disciplinary team supporting vendor onboarding, master data, catalog and contract management, end-user support, training, analytics, and reporting.
The position works closely with global procurement teams to implement the Target Operating Model, support transformation initiatives, and ensure alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications (Must-Have / Non-Negotiable)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
8+ years of procurement / supply chain experience
3+ years of leadership or people management experience
Strong experience in Shared Services / Service Center environment (critical)
Experience managing buyers / purchasing teams

Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle:

PR/PO, AP, payments
Goods receiving & 3-way matching
Hands-on experience with ERP systems:
SAP (MM/FI preferred)
SAP Ariba / Oracle / IFS / Coupa

Experience with:

Supplier master data
Vendor records
Catalog management

Strong understanding of:

Master data governance
Change management

Experience in:

Transformation environment (shared services / process improvement)
Global or regional service center operations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Availability: Immediate or max 2 weeks notice
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Pharma / Biopharma or regulated (GxP) environment
Experience supporting U.S. & Canada operations
Experience with KPI tracking and performance management in shared services
Exposure to procurement analytics, modeling, and reporting
Experience with ServiceNow or workflow tools

Nice to Have

Experience with UAT / test cases / system testing
Experience in procurement transformation projects
Knowledge of supplier onboarding and catalog enablement processes
Experience with Target Operating Model (TOM) implementation

Travel Required

Between the plant locations (Melrose Park, Pittsburgh, Wisconsin, North Carolina). Offices in Canada but might just be to the HQ in Toronto. Possibility travel for Poland (might be once for the entire duration)
