ARC virtually eliminates these issues, ensuring devices are functional, charged, and accounted for – while improving productivity and experience for teams on the ground.

About the Role

ARC by ChargeItSpot is seeking a Manager, FP&A to build the company’s financial planning & analysis capability during a period of rapid expansion following the close of a growth equity financing. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will turn financial and operating data into forward-looking insight that helps ARC make better decisions and drive long-term growth in enterprise value.

This is the first dedicated FP&A hire at ARC. You will partner directly with the CFO to build, rather than inherit, a best-in-class FP&A function as ARC scales. The role is hands-on, and will work closely with the Controller and functional leaders across the company – with regular visibility to our Board and lead sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Own ARC’s annual budget and planning process, in-year reforecasting, the near-term operating forecast, rolling cash forecasting, and the long-range plan.
• Partner with the CEO, CFO, and functional leaders to evaluate strategic growth opportunities and investments, and support transactions and diligence, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Prepare financial analyses and materials for executive leadership, board discussions, investors, lenders, and other external stakeholders.
• Own the monthly reporting package – KPIs, variance analysis, the narrative driving the numbers, and actionable follow-up with functional leaders – partnering closely with accounting so reporting, forecasts, and financials tie to reliable data.
• Identify, develop, measure and report key operational and financial performance indicators that provide an early view of performance, risk, and opportunity.
• Build and maintain integrated financial models, including deals, units, revenue, contribution margin, gross margin, headcount, operating expenses, and cash flow in support of financial projections and scenario planning.
• Translate sales pipeline and customer opportunities into probability-weighted revenue, margin, cash, and capacity forecasts. 
• Strengthen visibility into client, product, unit, and deal economics, including revenue, cost-to-serve, gross margin, contribution margin, working-capital, and capital expenditure impact.
• Partner with Sales, Client Success, and Operations on pricing and contract economics, supporting a developing deal desk function.
• Improve FP&A systems, reporting, and automation as ARC scales – including sensible use of AI-enabled tools – creating efficient and repeatable processes without sacrificing control.
• Operate as a hands-on individual contributor inside a lean finance organization, with the opportunity to build additional FP&A capacity as the business scales. 

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or a closely related discipline, including hands-on ownership of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Demonstrated success in a growth equity or private equity backed environment, scaling a high-growth business where the finance function is expected to build, improve, and influence rather than simply report.
• Fluency with industry standard recurring revenue metrics, including ARR, MRR, bookings, backlog, retention, churn, and cohort analysis, and the ability to reconcile them to GAAP financial statements.
• Exceptional Excel and financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and analytical skills – along with comfort using AI tools to accelerate analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of three-statement financial modeling, cash flow, working capital, margin analysis, and business performance drivers.
• Experience partnering directly with senior executives and translating complex financial information into clear recommendations and decisions.
• Strong business judgment with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively while maintaining trusted relationships across the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a technology, hardware, Hardware-as-a-Service, equipment leasing, software, SaaS, or other recurring revenue business serving enterprise customers.
• Experience improving FP&A technology, data infrastructure, reporting automation, or AI-enabled finance workflows.
• Experience with founder-led, rapidly scaling organizations.
• Familiarity with a sponsor-driven reporting cadence, including monthly operating reviews, flash reporting, and quarterly board materials.
• Experience with fundraising, investor & lender reporting, board materials, transaction diligence, or strategic finance initiatives.
• Experience with ERP, accounting, and business intelligence tools.

Location

Hybrid in Philadelphia, or remote possible for the right candidate; location to be discussed. ARC is headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, and the team operates on East Coast US business hours. You must be authorized to work in the United States.
