Manager - Finance, Treasury Advisory

The Global Treasury Controllership (GTC) team is part of the American Express Global Controllership Organization. GTC plays a significant role across the Middle and Back Office Treasury functions and financial reporting processes for the Company’s cash, debt, securities and financing transactions, investments, and derivatives. The team supports the Company’s Capital, Liquidity, and Exposure Management needs while partnering closely with the Treasury organization and other key stakeholders. This Manager role sits within the Treasury Advisory team of GTC and is responsible for leading and supporting accounting, valuation, and advisory activities across the Company’s Treasury portfolio. The role requires hands-on valuation experience across financial instruments, including interest rate swaps, foreign exchange derivatives, and non-derivative instruments such as debt and investments. The individual will provide subject matter expertise on complex Treasury transactions, accounting and fair value matters, while ensuring consistent financial reporting and a strong control environment.
