- Prepare and/or review general ledger, monthly account reconciliations and daily, monthly and quarterly reporting documents to validate accuracy and integrity while ensuring all transactions are recorded in adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Performs monthly/quarterly/annual balance sheet and P&L analytics on account/location fluctuations.
- Works closely with other accounting managers and interdepartmental process flows to support corporate goals.
- On a proactive basis, research the impact of new accounting pronouncements and its effect on existing policies and provide guidance to Senior Management on the impact to existing accounting policies and overall financial impact.
- Apply critical thinking skills to help establish and maintain processes and controls to achieve maximum efficiency and adherence to accounting policies and procedures which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data.
- Ensures accurate and timely financial reporting to internal management; provides more specific ad hoc reporting, as assigned.
- Ability to supervise, direct and coordinate the work of staff while also working as an individual contributor.
- Trains and mentors department staff.
- Assists in the completion of special projects.

- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree
- CPA License required
- 3 to 5 years accounting experience preferred
- 2 to 3 years management experience preferred
- Mix of public accounting and industry preferred
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office and computer equipment.
