As a trusted advisor and leader, you will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and business performance. You will leverage deep technical expertise to translate sophisticated tax concepts into practical business solutions, helping guide key decisions and deliver meaningful value to the organization.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative and forward-thinking tax professional with a strong foundation in tax and accounting, a track record of leading teams and high-impact initiatives, and a passion for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical resource for complex tax and accounting matters.
- Review and oversee calculations, analyses, and reporting to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Partner with Tax, Legal, Treasury, Finance, and Technology teams on strategic initiatives.
- Identify risks, recommend solutions, and support implementation of process improvements.
- Support implementation of new business programs, policies, and operational changes.
- Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, controls, and overall stakeholder experience.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and review for Analysts and Senior Analysts.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 7 years experience in tax, financial analysis, or a related field
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and financial modeling.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with partners and senior stakeholders.
- Experience working with pass-through entities, partnerships, or complex ownership structures.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, and Tableau) is highly desirable.
Salary Information
Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program.
