• Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and ensure required documentation is collected and maintained
• Support the sourcing of materials, equipment, and services based on project and operational needs
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations to support purchasing decisions
• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, order status, availability, and delivery timelines
• Track material deliveries and expedite orders to support project schedules
• Work closely with project teams and internal stakeholders to understand upcoming procurement requirements
• Assist in resolving purchase order, delivery, invoice, and supplier-related issues
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supporting documentation within ERP systems
• Support supplier performance tracking, spend analysis, and procurement reporting
• Assist with sourcing initiatives, cost-saving opportunities, and procurement process improvements
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with established procurement policies and procedures
• Develop positive working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, or a related field.
•  Relevant co-op/internship experience may also be considered
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of purchasing and supply chain processes
• Experience with purchase orders, supplier coordination, or material tracking is considered an asset
• Exposure to ERP or procurement systems is considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Willingness to learn and develop within the procurement and supply chain function
• Experience or exposure to the construction, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is considered an asset
• Progress toward a supply chain or procurement designation is considered an asset
