About the Role A growing Monsey-based company is seeking a Junior Controller to help lead its day-to-day accounting operations. Working closely with the CFO and Controller, you'll oversee AP, AR, and bookkeeping while managing a small team — an excellent opportunity to build your leadership track record in a company on the rise.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting Duties

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and balance sheet items
• Maintain the chart of accounts

Financial Reporting

• Help prepare financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Assist with variance analysis (budget vs. actual)
• Support preparation of management reports and board packages

Accounts Payable/Receivable Oversight

• Review or supervise AP/AR processes
• Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
• Monitor cash flow

Team & Leadership

• Partner closely with the CFO and Controller
• Lead and guide a small finance team

Qualifications

• Leadership experience
• Strong financial background
