Junior Accountant

Job Description & Summary The Opportunity PwC is a leading global practice in Tax, Assurance and Advisory, offering a wide range of professional services to major clients worldwide, and therefore opportunities for newcomers to our organization. Our Alternative Delivery Model team, based in Bucharest and Cluj, provides Accounting and Tax Compliance services to clients across the global PwC Network. We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join the fast-growing team in Cluj. In this role you would be working to support PwC firms in Western Europe with their accounting services. What you will be doing Support the team with day-to-day operational activities in the accounting area. Work with financial information and documentation, including account statements and other finance-related documents. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation using Excel, Word, and PDF tools. Use AI tools and prompting as part of your daily work and explore ways to make processes more efficient. Ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with financial data. Be comfortable with tasks that may be repetitive at times, while maintaining accuracy and consistency. Continually learn and share knowledge with other team members. Build relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service. Manage performance and identify opportunities to improve our products and processes. What we need from you You hold a University degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting. You know basic accountant information (maybe a minimum experience in accounting or internship). You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on execution. You have strong English language skills. You know Excel - Intermediate to advanced level. You are open to use AI in your work and to learn new tech systems (PeBe, Abacus) You are eager to dive into new topics and to learn new skills. You have advanced written and verbal communication skills. You are highly adaptable and open to change. You are an organized person and know the importance of the deadline Your location: Cluj.
