At Salomon, we're transforming the way we manage technology partners, IT services and external talent. We're looking for an IT Procurement Specialist to play a key role in this journey. In this role, you'll combine sourcing, supplier management, spend visibility and process improvement to help build a more strategic, data-driven and AI-enabled procurement function. You'll work closely with IT, Finance and suppliers across an international environment while owning procurement projects and helping optimize how we manage our technology ecosystem. What You Will Do Lead IT Procurement Activities Manage end-to-end sourcing projects for software, IT services and technology-related spend. Gather business requirements, evaluate suppliers, analyze commercial proposals and support contract negotiations. Contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives and help identify opportunities for cost optimization and value creation. Ensure procurement activities are compliant with company policies and procurement standards. Manage External IT Workforce Procurement Own the operational management of external consultants and professional services engagements. Coordinate Statements of Work (SOWs), contract execution, renewals and amendments. Partner with IT leaders to forecast resource needs and maintain visibility on workforce spend. Help improve and automate workforce management processes. Drive Supplier Performance & Governance Support strategic supplier relationships and governance activities. Prepare and coordinate supplier reviews and business reviews. Monitor supplier performance, contractual commitments and related risks. Contribute to strengthening supplier management practices across IT. Improve Visibility Through Data & Insights Develop procurement reporting, dashboards and KPI tracking. Analyze spend, supplier performance and procurement process efficiency. Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate procurement activities. Participate in initiatives leveraging automation and AI to modernize procurement operations. Ensure Smooth Procurement Operations Manage purchase orders and contract administration activities. Support invoice reconciliation and issue resolution with suppliers and Finance. Monitor procurement compliance and recommend process improvements. What Makes You Successful Essential Skills & Experience 3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing or Vendor Management. Experience working with IT suppliers, professional services providers or technology-related spend. Exposure to contract management, supplier management and procurement processes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data and reporting. Experience managing external workforce suppliers or contingent labor programs. Knowledge of SOW-based engagements and professional services procurement. Experience with SAP, Ariba, Concur or similar procurement tools. Exposure to procurement transformation, automation or AI initiatives.
