IT Procurement Agent

About the role: Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408 (Must be able to commute to Juno daily)

We are looking for an IT Procurement Agent on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the procurement of IT-related goods and services. This position involves developing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all IT purchases align with the client's needs and budget. You will work closely with various departments to ensure and cost-effective acquisition of IT resources.

You will manage the end-to-end IT procurement processes, including requisitioning, sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals. You will need to ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards. You will report to the onsite manager.

1-year contract assignment. (W-2)

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Relations:

1. Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.

2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors.

• Contract Management:

1. Draft, review, and manage IT contracts and agreements.

• Budget and Cost Management:

1. Work with the finance department to establish and manage IT procurement budgets.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

1. Collaborate with IT, legal, finance, and other departments to understand and meet procurement needs.

• Market Analysis and Research:

1. Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, pricing, and product availability.

• Documentation and Reporting:

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including requisitions, contracts, and invoices.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school but preferred a 4-yr. degree Business, Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $30.00/hr. to $35.00/hr.
