How Will You Make an Impact?
As an Inventory Analyst I at our Memphis, TN facility, you will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and material traceability across assigned areas. You will monitor inventory transactions, investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and provide actionable feedback to management to prevent future inaccuracies. Your work will directly support production continuity, inventory integrity, and operational efficiency.
Location:
2nd Shift On‑site at our Memphis, TN facility.
What Will You Do?
- Monitor and validate all material transactions for assigned inventory areas.
- Identify, resolve, and determine root causes of inventory discrepancies and related errors.
- Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to prevent recurring inventory inaccuracies.
- Perform component cycle counts in accordance with inventory control requirements.
- Execute inventory transactions and reporting in Jabil systems and customer systems, as required.
- Support elimination of manufacturing downtime related to inventory issues in assigned areas, where applicable.
- Assist with development and implementation of materials management systems that enhance inventory control.
- Provide cross‑functional support by interfacing with departmental supervisors, engineering, program management, and other site functions.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime when required and assisting with material handling or supporting other Inventory Control personnel as directed by the Inventory Control Manager.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations and comply with company security policies.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in inventory control, materials, analysis, or manufacturing environments preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Analytical & Communication Skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and internal teams.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.
Technical & Computer Skills
- Ability to operate a personal computer using a Windows‑based operating system.
- Advanced PC skills, including experience with Jabil software packages.
Reasoning & Math Skills
- Ability to apply common‑sense understanding to carry out simple written or verbal instructions.
- Ability to work within standardized processes with minimal variables.
- Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs and data trends.
