THE WORK:
- You'll develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
- You’ll analyze spend and define category strategies for cost optimization.
- You’ll identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities and ensure alignment with company objectives and margin targets.
- You’ll identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and build long-term partnerships with key vendors, while managing supplier performance, KPIs, and scorecards.
- You’ll negotiate contracts, pricing, and service levels and lead cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- You’ll perform cost analysis, benchmarking, and “should-cost” modeling.
- You’ll drive savings through negotiations and sourcing events (RFP, RFQ, RFI) and lead commercial negotiations with suppliers.
- You’ll define and manage contract terms and conditions and partner with legal, finance, and risk teams for compliance.
- You’ll ensure favorable pricing, quality, and service agreements and work with internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, operations, etc.).
- You’ll translate business requirements into sourcing strategies and act as liaison between suppliers and internal teams.
- You’ll support product development and operational needs and assess supplier risks (financial, operational, geopolitical).
- You’ll ensure supply continuity and business resilience and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- You’ll monitor market trends and supply conditions and lead and mentor sourcing/procurement teams.
- You’ll set KPIs, goals, and performance expectations and drive capability building and talent development.
- You’ll guide teams through sourcing initiatives and transformations and improve sourcing processes, tools, and systems (e.g., SAP, vendor management platforms).
- You’ll implement best practices and standardization and drive procurement transformation initiatives that will enhance efficiency, transparency, and governance.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
$75,000 - $100,000 a yearCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
