The Manager, Indirect Procurement – Industrial Goods & Services (IGS) is responsible for developing and executing category strategies across Industrial Goods & Services to support Agropur's North American manufacturing network. This role leads strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract governance, and value creation initiatives across Manufacturing Operations. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, Finance, and Procurement colleagues, this position drives cost reduction, supplier consolidation, risk mitigation, spend under management growth, and operational reliability. The Manager serves as a strategic business partner to plant leadership while ensuring procurement strategies support Agropur's operational excellence, digital transformation, and Smart Factory initiatives. Where you will drive value: Develop and execute multi-year category strategies across Industrial Goods & Services categories. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, competitive bidding events, contract negotiations, and supplier selection processes. Identify opportunities to consolidate suppliers, standardize specifications, and leverage enterprise buying power across manufacturing sites. Establish category roadmaps aligned with operational priorities, risk mitigation strategies, and value creation targets. Monitor market conditions, commodity trends, and supplier developments to proactively identify opportunities and risks. Support implementation of preferred supplier programs and increase spend under management across all assigned categories. Own category performance and act as the single point of accountability for category strategy, supplier governance, and value delivery across North America. Establish annual savings, cost avoidance, and value creation targets for assigned categories. Develop strategic supplier partnerships focused on cost, quality, innovation, service, and risk management. Lead supplier business reviews and performance management processes. Establish supplier scorecards and key performance indicators. Support supplier development initiatives that improve reliability, service levels, and operational outcomes. Drive supplier accountability through contract management, service level agreements, and corrective action processes Own the supplier segmentation strategy and determine strategic supplier status across assigned categories Lead executive-level supplier escalations involving operational, quality, financial or supply continuity risks. Establish executive relationships with key supplier leadership teams to support long-term business objectives. Partner with and serve as a trusted advisor to Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, Quality, and Manufacturing leadership to understand business requirements and develop sourcing strategies. Support plant reliability initiatives through strategic management of MRO, spare parts, maintenance services, and technical suppliers. Ensure procurement policies, sourcing processes, and governance requirements are consistently applied. Lead contract negotiations and maintain commercial agreements that mitigate business risk. Develop contingency plans for critical categories and strategic suppliers. Support regulatory, food safety, quality, environmental, and workplace safety requirements within assigned categories. Identify and mitigate supplier, operational, financial, and supply continuity risks. Own category risk management strategies and supplier business continuity plans for critical spend categories. Approve exceptions to sourcing strategies, procurement standards, and supplier governance requirements where appropriate. Deliver annual cost reduction, value creation, and cost avoidance targets. Increase spend under management and contract compliance across assigned categories. Develop and monitor category KPIs including: Cost savings, Cost avoidance, Spend under management, Contract compliance, Supplier performance, Supplier rationalization, Risk reduction What will enable you to have an impact: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent a plus. 6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering, maintenance, or industrial services categories preferred. Demonstrated success managing complex sourcing projects and supplier negotiations. Experience developing category strategies and delivering measurable value creation. Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred. Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional sourcing initiatives. Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to partner with Engineering and Operations teams. Strong project management skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
