Group Consolidation & Audit Accountant

Group Consolidation & Audit Accountant Location: London (Hybrid) Contract: 4-6 months About the role We’re looking for a Group Consolidation & Audit Accountant to join the finance team on a short-term contract, providing extra capacity through the year-end and audit period. You’ll work closely with the Group Financial Controller, supporting consolidation, audit deliverables and balance sheet reviews. It’s a great opportunity to get hands-on with Group reporting in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. What you’ll be doing Preparing consolidation journals and supporting schedules Assisting with month-end and year-end Group reporting Preparing audit working papers and responding to audit requests Supporting cash flow preparation and balance sheet reviews Helping with intercompany reconciliations and elimination processes Supporting audit issue resolution and documentation What you’ll bring A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Previous experience in Group Reporting or consolidation A strong grounding in IFRS and a solid audit background About Us Vertage is the global brand uniting the former Impellam Group and HeadFirst Group, bringing together a portfolio of specialist talent and workforce solutions companies.
