A leading international law firm is seeking a Global Tax Services Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising domestic and international clients on sophisticated tax planning, transactional tax matters, and complex business transactions.

Ideal Background

• 3–7 years of tax experience at a law firm, accounting firm, or similar professional services environment
• Experience advising clients on federal income tax, partnership taxation, corporate taxation, and transactional tax matters preferred
• Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, restructurings, and other business transactions
• Experience with international tax planning, cross-border transactions, or fund-related tax matters is a plus
• Strong analytical, drafting, research, and communication skills
• Ability to work directly with clients and transaction teams in a collaborative environment
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• LL.M. in Taxation is a plus but not required
• North Carolina bar admission required or ability to become admitted
