About the Role

The Corporate Controller reports directly to the CFO and functions as a hands-on leader within the Finance and Accounting team. The Controller is responsible for the company’s accounting operations in the US and Malaysia, with subscription sales into over 70 countries, as well as financial transactions, reporting and compliance functions. 

Most immediately, our Corporate Controller will help to lead the accounting for Staritas’ recent carveout, including the stand-up of accounting and transaction reporting systems. This includes building a high-performance team, implementing best-in-class systems and processes including NetSuite, Zone Advanced Billing, and Salesforce, and developing and implementing world class reporting and analytics to drive critical data-based decision-making.

Throughout, this role will collaborate as a key member of the management team to lead our accounting policies and principles, practices, procedures and initiatives, ensuring that we have the proper internal controls to maintain our books and records in accordance with GAAP. As our principal accounting leader, you will lead and perform technical accounting research, coordinate all external audits, provide accurate information for all tax filings, be a leader and mentor to the accounting team, while alsohaving extensive interaction with our senior leadership team and our private equity owners. This is a highly visible role with high growth potential.

What We Offer

Travel

Up to 10% travel, based on business needs.  While our roles are 100% remote, we do get together a few times a year for up to one week.  Employees are given ample notice and attendance is expected.

Staritas posts compensation ranges and benefits for all open roles. The compensation range for this position is $200,000 to $220,000 annually, plus an annual bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Compensation offered will depend on factors including experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.
