Fund Accountant With German Language Proficiency(M/W/D), Associate 2

Who we are looking for

For our Depositary Services Germany division at State Street Bank International GmbH in Munich, we are seeking a Fund Accountant, Associate 2 (m/f/d) starting immediately.

What you will be responsible for

• Independent client support on a daily basis, participation in conference calls or in-person meetings to discuss service standards.
• Independent answering and coordination of internal and external client inquiries in various systems (Outlook, Inquiry Management Tool) in compliance with communication guidelines and deadlines.
• Independent control of fund price reconciliation, processing and booking of unit transactions/distributions, taking into account legal and regulatory requirements.
• Determination of daily liquidity surplus and corresponding disposition.
• Coordination, monitoring, and implementation of customer-specific requirements/projects.
• Working on internal projects for automation, standardization, and efficiency improvement of processes.
• Close collaboration with local and international departments.
• Coordination of fund setups, liquidations, transfers, and mergers, as well as onboarding and integration of new funds into daily operations.
• Creation, updating, and daily adherence to work instructions.
• Execution and creation of internal and external reporting.
• Exercising control oversight over tasks outsourced to other departments.

Education & preferred qualifications

• Training as a bank or investment fund clerk with corresponding professional experience and additional qualifications (Fachwirt, Betriebswirt) or a completed degree.
• Good knowledge of securities and fund accounting is desirable.
• Good German and good English skills – spoken and written.
• Good MS Office skills, especially MS Excel.
