We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This position is an Analyst role in our Claim Solutions - Forensic Accounting Claim Services “FACS” business. Claim Solutions is one of the divisions of Marsh Advisory, a global business and differentiator for Marsh. Together with three other business units – Consulting Solutions, Analytics, and Captive Solutions – FACS provides expertise in forensic accounting, insurance loss measurement, claims preparation, litigation and advisory services. We will count on you to:
Participate in the preparation and execution of detailed financial analyses, financial modeling, and investigative procedures related to damage quantification in areas such as business interruption, large property damage, fidelity/fraud investigations, product recall, cyber claims, liability claims, etc.
Prepare and review working paper files with meticulous documentation of evidence obtained, methodologies applied, and procedures performed, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Develop and deliver impactful presentations that articulate findings, methodologies, and strategic recommendations related to forensic accounting and claims services.
Attend existing and new client meetings, develop client relationships, participate in sales, marketing and other internal/external presentations.
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
3+ years of relevant professional experience in forensic accounting, claims services, or a related field.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Ability to travel for engagements as necessary.
What makes you stand out:
Professional accounting designation (CPA, CFE, CFF, etc.) preferred.
Strong organizational, multitasking, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
High integrity, teamwork focus, eagerness to learn, and experience in forensic investigations and claims analysis is a plus.
