The Staff Pad has partnered with a well -known
hospital in Manchester; TN and we are looking to hire an experienced and
skilled Financial Controller to join its Finance team.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>
Under the direction of the CFO, the Financial
Controller is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal
entries, performing bank reconciliations, supporting financial and
administrative audits, and carrying out other assigned accounting duties<\/span><\/span>

What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>
Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>
- Ensure compliance with regulations,
GAAP standards, hospital practice, and confidentiality requirements<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Supervise the Staff accountant &
oversee accounting operations, including journal entry, account
reconciliation, variance analysis, general ledger maintenance, and
financial reporting<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Prepare audit and cost report
documentation while ensuring financial data accuracy and integrity<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Maintain confidentiality of patient
and employee information<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Manage depreciation and prepaid
schedule, monthly entry, bank reconciliation, and cash management activity<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Oversee Business Office operations,
ensuring timely and accurate posting of hospital and clinic payments and
cash receipts<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Support hospital operations through
emergency response and other assigned duties<\/span><\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>What We Are Looking For:<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>Qualifications<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or
equivalent accounting experience<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Two years of bookkeeping or
accounting experience, including payroll and accounts payable<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Healthcare accounting experience<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Proficient in Microsoft Excel,
Word, PowerPoint, and financial software applications<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Skilled in advanced spreadsheet
development, data entry, and electronic data processing equipment<\/span><\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Additional Skills<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>- Strong knowledge of accounting
principles and procedures<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills<\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Ability to work independently with
minimal supervision and interact professionally with diverse stakeholders<\/span><\/span>
