Financial Controller

The Pizza Hut Global Assistant Controller serves as a senior leader within the Global Control organization, responsible for overseeing global accounting, reporting, and consolidation processes for the Pizza Hut brand. This role provides governance, direction, and review over key financial processes executed by Division and market-level accounting teams, including international Shared Services teams.

Global Accounting & Reporting Oversight

• Provide executive oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation processes.
• Collaborate with the Global Controller in the review key financial outputs including consolidated reporting, balance sheet reviews, and executive decks.
• Establish and uphold consistent accounting policies and documentation standards.
• Provide oversight and escalation support to ensure alignment between global accounting policies and Shared Services execution.
• Partner with Division and market finance teams to resolve complex accounting issues and drive alignment on accounting treatment and reporting expectations.
• Provide governance over statutory reporting, external audits, and regulatory compliance activities, ensuring risks are proactively identified and managed.

Leadership & Oversight of Direct Reports

• Provide direct leadership, performance management, and development for two Associate Manager-level direct reports responsible for: 
• Accounting for Division Headquarters, quarterly reporting and consolidations, and the corresponding executive deliverables. 
• Accounting for Digital & Technology hubs, including statutory reporting and audit coordination. 
• Establish clear expectations for quality, timeliness, and accountability; review key deliverables and provide guidance on complex accounting matters.
• Ensure effective coordination across global teams, including Shared Services, third-party providers, and international finance partners.
• Coach and develop talent, reinforcing technical accounting expertise, judgment, and leadership capabilities.

Incremental / Strategic Responsibilities

• Coordinate with treasury and provide oversight to ensure financial reporting requirements associated with credit agreements, debt servicing, and covenant compliance are met timely and accurately.
• Provide oversight and escalation support to ensure alignment between global accounting policies and Shared Services execution.
• Lead or support high-impact, ad hoc initiatives on behalf of the Pizza Hut Global Controller, including: 
• Organizational design and operating model initiatives
• Reporting transformations or system implementations
• Complex accounting or transaction-specific analyses
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Global Controller on evolving business needs and priorities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including global or multi-entity environments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with direct people management and oversight of geographically dispersed teams.
• Deep expertise in consolidation, statutory reporting, and external audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of global accounting frameworks and internal control environments.
• Experience working with Shared Service Centers and third-party providers.
• Proven ability to lead through influence, manage complexity, and drive alignment across stakeholders.

Salary Range: $142,500 to $167,600 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
