Job Description:

The Financial Management Division at the Georgia Department of Defense is expanding! We serve as the fiscal backbone of our agency, directly responsible to the agency head for all financial, budgeting, and Cooperative Agreement functions. We are currently seeking talented, detail-oriented investment and accounting professionals for two critical paths within our team: Financial Analyst I and Financial Analyst II. Both roles are based out of our Marietta office at Clay National Guard Center, feature incredible leadership support, and offer a unique environment that prioritizes your health and work-life balance.

Act as a key fiscal advisor focused on advanced forecasting, statistical trend modeling, and leading external audit compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in accounting, business/public administration, or finance from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience; or four (4) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience; or two (2) years of experience at the lower level Budget Analyst 1 (FIP010) or position equivalent.
