Efficiency. Innovation. Integrity. These are our three pillars. At Curtin Maritime, these core values are the framework for safe performance and operational excellence, and the proof is in our people and our fleet. For 25 years, Curtin Maritime has delivered quality maritime solutions to customers around the world.

Why Curtin Maritime

Curtin Maritime is a founder-owned, private equity-backed company with entrepreneurial roots and a rapidly growing presence in marine transportation, offshore vessel operations, and marine construction. Our customers include some of the world’s largest maritime, aerospace, and defense companies, and our Long Beach operations are at the center of it all.

As a Financial Analyst on our FP&A team, you’ll gain exposure to both operational and corporate finance. You’ll work directly with operations teams to understand business performance, and you’ll prepare financial analyses and presentations for executive leadership, investors, and other key stakeholders. From vessel utilization and operational KPIs to forecasting, profitability analysis, and capital investments, you’ll have the opportunity to build processes, solve complex business problems, and take ownership of projects from start to finish. You’ll also see the vessels and projects behind the numbers, with project-site visits as part of the role.

We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to create value. You enjoy building things, taking initiative, and working collaboratively to make the business better. If you’ve built your career in investment banking, private equity, consulting, public accounting, or corporate finance and want to move closer to the operations of a business, this is a chance to make a tangible impact, work closely with leadership, and grow alongside a scaling company.

Objective/Summary

The FP&A Analyst will support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis in addition to providing financial insights that will drive business decisions, optimize costs, and support overall company growth.
