Financial Analyst ERP & AI Focus
Position Summary
We are seeking a forward-thinking Financial Analyst who thrives at the intersection of traditional finance and modern enterprise systems. Running on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, this position is a unique hybrid: half traditional Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and half ERP data/process owner.
You will not only analyze financial performance but also serve as a core contributor to our ERP ecosystem, with a specific mandate to champion AI and automation adoption across our financial workflows. This is a high-visibility pipeline role. We are looking for an ambitious professional who wants to build a definitive growth track toward an Accounting Manager, Controller, or IT/ERP Leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Financial Performance: Execute traditional FP&A duties, delivering accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and actionable insights to support manufacturing operations.
Own the System: Serve as a primary data and process owner within our Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O environment, ensuring data integrity and system optimization.
Champion AI & Automation: Actively identify, design, and implement AI tools and automated workflows to eliminate manual tasks and modernize legacy finance processes.
Spearhead Continuous Improvement: Partner cross-functionally to leverage data analytics to solve operational challenges and improve plant efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
Industry Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience within a manufacturing environment.
Technical Aptitude: Strong analytical and data manipulation skills, with a proven comfort level working directly inside complex financial systems and databases.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess one or more of the following "nice-to-haves":
Hands-on experience navigating and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
A strong background in product costing or cost accounting.
Prior hands-on experience in core FP&A or accounting functions.
Professional certification (CPA, CMA) or an MBA.
Candidate Profile: Who You Are
Systems Curious: You are a builder, not just a report-runner. You want to look under the hood of our ERP and figure out how to make it work harder for the business.
Innovation Driven: Your interest in AI and automation isn't just a buzzword—you are genuinely excited about testing and adopting new technologies to transform how work gets done.
Data-Minded: You default to data when making decisions and naturally look for continuous improvement opportunities in everything you do.
Growth-Oriented: You aren't looking for a lateral move to "stay in the seat." You are highly motivated, eager to learn, and ready to accelerate your career toward leadership.
