Responsibilities

• Prepare, reconcile, and verify accounting information
• Participate in monthly financial reviews
• Support management with ‘what if’ type of analysis using various assumptions
• Aid management with Financial Planning and Analysis
• Provide support for the monthly GL closings and annual audit
• Generate ad-hoc general ledger and payroll reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 2-5 years or more of Accounting related experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with ADP a strong plus
• Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint Accounting experience a strong plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
• Experience with governmental contracts a plus
• Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and complete projects on time with minimal supervision
