You’ll develop budgets and forecasts, analyze monthly results, build financial and operational KPIs, and partner with leaders to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
You’ll also tackle ad hoc analyses across areas including Flight Operations, Aircraft Maintenance, and other corporate functions, giving you broad exposure to how the JSX business operates. From evaluating capital investments to preparing financial information for senior management, you’ll have the opportunity to see your analysis translate into real business decisions.

- Partner with business leaders to develop departmental budgets and forecasts.
- Review monthly financial results and prepare departmental variance analyses that clearly explain performance against plan.
- Analyze financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop financial and non-financial key performance indicators that help teams measure performance and business success.
- Complete ad hoc financial analyses supporting Flight Operations, Aircraft Maintenance, and other corporate departments.
- Support internal capital projects through financial analysis, business case development, and preparation for executive approval.
- Partner with Accounting to review, reclassify, and appropriately align expenses.
- Build clear financial reporting that translates detailed data into actionable business insights.
- Prepare and present financial information, findings, and recommendations to senior management.
Why You’ll Love This Role

- Tackle Different Problems: Work on projects spanning Flight Operations, Aircraft Maintenance, capital investments, and other areas across the company.
- Gain Leadership Exposure: Prepare analyses and financial insights used by senior management to understand performance and make strategic decisions.
What Makes a Successful Financial Analyst?
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Analytical: You enjoy working with numbers, identifying trends, and understanding the story behind financial and operational performance.

- Collaborative: You build relationships with business partners and work effectively across Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other departments.
- Communicative: You can translate financial analysis into clear insights for audiences with different levels of financial expertise.
