What You’ll Do
- Ensure process integrity related to inventory and work with team members to resolve process issues
- Analyze and review bills of material to ensure accurate product & standard costs
- Understand and analyze manufacturing KPIs and provide actionable insights for operational efficiency
- Review intercompany shipments to ensure adherence to process
- Participate in annual and/or bi-annual physical inventory counts
- Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting areas of concern and opportunities for improvement within the Operations Group (Manufacturing, Warehouse, Distribution, Inventory Management and Supply Chain)
- Collaborate with different departments to understand operational processes and their financial implications
- Develop and maintain reports and tools for the Operations group to support decision-making processes throughout the company
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
- Intermediate to expert level Excel skills – ability to work with large data sets and create advanced formulas
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and the financial impact
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
- Experience with ERP systems
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Power BI.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects with strong follow-through skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, collaboration and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as well as cross functionally.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written skills, with accounting experience being a plus.
- Self-starter with the motivation to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Solid data management and reporting experience using Microsoft Office tools, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and familiarity with macros and queries.
- Experience with Power BI is preferred.
