Vedder Price is a corporate law firm headquartered in Chicago. With 300 lawyers and growing, they serve sophisticated clients of all sizes and in virtually all industries. They also have offices in New York, Washington D.C., London, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Singapore, and Dallas.

Location: Chicago, IL (on a Hybrid work model going into the office 3 days/week)

Salary: Up to 85K Base

Position Summary:

You will assist in the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of the Firm's financial metrics, analytics and KPIs. This includes participating in the enhancement and development of existing and future financial planning models, system implementation and improvements, and monitoring actual financial performance against plan objectives and preparation of various management reports and performance summaries. You will also play a supporting role in the Firm's annual budget process, strategic pricing and billing rate structure, including the support of RFP responses. This position requires demonstrated skill in quantitative financial analysis with working knowledge of general accounting principles and practices. You will report to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA or CPA a plus)

• Minimum 3 years of Accounting and / Financial Analysis experience.

• Advanced working knowledge in the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access & Outlook)

• Experience leading projects, with the ability to complete projects on-time in a collaborative team environment.
