Summary
The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information. They typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
Responsibilities:

Oversee the monthly financial cycle, including vendor onboarding, bank setup, contract review with the legal team, and invoice processing using SAP.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.
Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide organizational planning and decision-making.
Lead monthly meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss financial performance, identify trends, and address ad hoc tasks.
Provide financial analysis support to HR functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks.
Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations, and entire industries.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
5-7 years of financial and/or accounting experience required.

Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.
Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations as related to accounting.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $42.00 - $42.31 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
