About the Role
Join The Flying Bulls as a Finance Manager and take ownership of the full finance agenda, including financial planning & forecasting, accounting, tax, treasury, credit risk, internal controls, and business partnering. You will drive monthly reporting and planning processes, provide actionable financial insights, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. Working closely with local and HQ stakeholders, you will continuously improve finance processes and systems while contributing to key business initiatives in the unique world of Red Bull.
ACCOUNTING & TAXES
Working closely with shared service teams and external advisors, you will take ownership of all accounting and tax matters. You will deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including statutory financial statements and accrual management, and lead year-end audits to ensure high-quality outcomes. In addition, you will drive continuous improvements across finance processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and transparency. By monitoring legislative developments and proactively managing tax risks, you will help maintain compliance and optimize tax-related activities.
CASH MANAGEMENT & TREASURY
Responsible for effective cash, liquidity, and currency management, you will ensure compliance with treasury policies while supporting the company's financial stability. You will lead credit risk management, optimize working capital, and drive healthy cash flow across the business. In addition, you will coordinate financing, leasing, and banking activities, provide liquidity forecasts and financial insights, and oversee local insurance matters to ensure appropriate risk coverage and compliance with company guidelines.
INTERNAL CONTROLS
You will ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and governance requirements while safeguarding company and shareholder interests. You will continuously strengthen the internal control environment through effective controls, fraud prevention measures, and clear accountability. In addition, you will foster a culture of integrity and transparency by promoting ethical business practices and compliance awareness across the organization.
CONTROLLING
By providing meaningful financial insights and challenging assumptions, you will support informed decision-making and optimize resource allocation. You will analyze business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive corrective actions, while continuously improving controlling processes and reporting efficiency to maximize business value.
BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP
You will act as a trusted business partner, providing financial insights and decision support to management and budget owners. You will support planning and resource allocation, identify risks and opportunities, and develop business cases and financial analyses for key initiatives. Through transparency and constructive challenge, you will drive cost awareness, profitability, and the efficient use of company resources while supporting strategic customer and vendor decisions.
Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and controlling.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (local GAAP and IFRS) and taxation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with an ability to identify risks, assess impacts, and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convince stakeholders.
- Advanced IT skills, including Excel and ERP/reporting systems (e.g., SAP, BI tools).
- Proactive, hands-on, and self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Team player with the flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Experience in the airline industry is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
For legal reasons, we are required to point out that the collective agreement minimum salary for this position is EUR 2,275 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation packages are based on current market salaries and therefore significantly exceed the stated minimum salary.
