Finance Manager

Job description

We are seeking an experienced manager for a temporary role leading revenue reporting and data insights work. This person will own the development of revenue reporting, drive insights that inform business decisions, lead audits of existing reports, and guide project work involving large, complex data sets — with a strong emphasis on simplifying data presentation for executive and cross-functional audiences. This role requires both hands-on analytical work and the judgment to set standards, prioritize competing requests, and represent findings to senior stakeholders.Revenue Reporting Own the development and maintenance of recurring and ad hoc revenue reports and dashboards for senior leadership and business stakeholders. Provide accurate, timely and concise data outputs with high level actionable insights. Drive automation and process improvements to modernize and streamline reporting.Insights & Analysis Lead analysis of revenue trends, variances, and performance drivers, delivering insights that inform business strategy. Tanslate complex, cross-functional analysis into clear recommendations for executive audiences. Proactively surface risks and opportunities and advise leadership on implications.Reporting Audit Lead audits of existing reports and dashboards, establishing standards for accuracy, consistency, and data governance. Identify systemic issues, redundancies, or outdated logic and drive corrective action across teams. Establish documentation and controls to ensure reporting integrity going forward.Data Management & Simplified Presentation Managing, cleaning, and organizing large, complex data sets.

• Set the approach for data visualization and storytelling, ensuring insights are simple and actionable for varied audiences, including executives.
• Partner with project and business leaders to prioritize data and reporting needs across concurrent initiatives.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus. 6+ years of experience in financial/business analysis, reporting, or data analytics, including experience leading cross-functional projects (individual contributor role; no direct reports). Advanced proficiency in Excel; strong experience with Microsoft Co-Pilot Proven ability to manage large, complex data sets and distill them into clear, executive-ready takeaways. Strong track record of establishing reporting standards and driving quality improvements across teams. Excellent executive communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and lead cross-functional work in a remote setting.Preferred Skills

• Experience building reporting frameworks, providing efficiencies and simplifying results
• Background leading data-heavy cross-functional projects without formal management responsibility.
