Finance Manager

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a Finance Manager for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a senior finance leader with strong accounting, budgeting, compliance, reporting, and team leadership experience.

The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, lead budgeting and forecasting, manage reporting and controls, support audits, and supervise a small finance/accounting team. This position will work closely with leadership to provide financial insight, improve processes, and ensure accurate, compliant financial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities
• Oversee accounting operations, month-end and year-end close, audits, and internal controls
• Manage financial compliance, reporting requirements, and documentation
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, financial performance, and operational trends
• Supervise, mentor, and support a small finance/accounting team
• Partner with leadership on financial strategy, planning, and process improvements
• Maintain accurate financial records and support strong internal processes

Qualifications

• CPA or master’s degree required
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience
• Prior finance leadership experience required
• Experience in a complex, regulated, nonprofit, service-based, or compliance-driven environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, audits, controls, and accounting operations
• Experience managing or mentoring finance/accounting staff
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
