Cadex is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the Trust Accounting process for several of Cadex’s seven divisions. Key objectives include:

OBJECTIVE 

Management of the trust accounting process for Cadex Solutions. Cadex is a collection agency. Funds collected they are held in “Trust” until returned to the client. This role manages the trust funds and invoices the client for collections services performed. 

Qualifications

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES 

SECONDARY JOB DUTIES 

Work closely with Divisional Controller on tasks they need assistance with 

Hire, train, cross-train, develop and appraise staff; take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy; consult with Human Resources as appropriate 

Continuously update and maintain process documentation related to all key tasks 

Protect company assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing sound internal controls 

Maintain 100% confidentiality unless legal requirements apply 

Provide assistance to other departments and teammates when they are in need

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY 

This position supervises several trust accountants. 

WORK HOURS 

This is a full-time professional leadership position with associated work expectations to meet the demands of the business. 

TRAVEL 

This role is based out of the Buffalo, NY office. Occasional travel may be required but on a very limited basis. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. 

This role is an Onsite role. The candidate is expected to work at our Buffalo, NY office.
