As a Finance Manager – Manager Level 3 your role at Redondo Beach, CA will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. Ready to join forces with our visionary team? Our Finance Manager will support our Communications & Networking Business Unit and have oversight and responsibility for all activity within the Business Unit. You will be a key partner in developing and establishing business strategies, investment prioritizations and delivering strong financial results. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. Your Role and Impact: Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts Lead monthly, quarterly and annual operating financial planning and reporting activity for the business unit Participate in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) / Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) forecast development Manage financial accounting/reporting, including Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) contract profitability assessments/reviews, cash flow/balance sheet management, Ensure that the business management organization remains in strict compliance with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) business control requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) regulations Oversee staffing, performance management and coaching/development of the Business Management professional staff Other duties as assigned Why you? Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience including people management experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience including people management experience No clearance required to start 5+ years of leadership experience Business Management experience COGNOS experience Ability to travel, up to 10% of the time, as needed Preferred Qualifications: MBA New business capture experience Experience managing large execution programs Process management tool experience Experience with financial planning, reporting, and accounting requirements & processes Experience with data structures/setup for Enterprise Resource Planning systems and related applications (i.e., SAP, Oracle/Hyperion) Experience with cost accounting standards and disclosure statements (e.g., overhead pool design/structure, primary/secondary pools) Experience with system requirements regarding direct allocations (both program-centric allocations and supervisory/functional allocations) Soft Skills: Dynamic leadership presence Collaborative work style Strong organizational, problem-solving and closure skills Strong written and oral communication skills Demonstrated interpersonal skills with different stakeholders and levels of professionals and management As a leader with integrity, you ensure ethical conduct, balanced results, and partner satisfaction. Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $159,500.00 - $239,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
