Sales Manager / Backup Finance Manager

Davidson Ford of Clay is looking for a Sales Manager! The Sales Manager will help lead and motivate our team to meet and exceed target goals through effective sales strategies, identifying potential areas of growth and opportunity, and training new staff! This position may also serve as a backup F&I Manager to cover days off, vacations, sickness, etc. as needed.

Hours: Monday - Saturday, with Sunday and an additional day during the week off.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $200,000+/yr

Responsibilities:

• Leads the success of the Sales department through staff training and process follow through.
• Set aggressive yet realistic sales goals and objectives.
• Ensures deals are complete and contain all required documentation.
• Create plans and implement processes to increase sales and/or profitability. 
• Provides coverage for Finance Managers and other Sales Managers as needed.
• Ensure Sales staff is trained on all rebate, incentive, and government programs.
• Ensure Sales staff is trained on new products, features, and accessories as well as the benefits of them to our customers.
• Ensure proper presentation of vehicles, vehicle features, and test drives tailored to the customer’s needs and interests.
• Sell enhanced products and services offered by our dealership and/or the manufacturer.
• Deliver vehicles to customers including reviewing the vehicle’s features, warranty, and paperwork.
• Maintain customer satisfaction consistent with or above dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Be familiar with F&I and banking compliance requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned, as needed.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years experience as a Sales and/or Finance Manager.
• Goal oriented with the ability to follow through.

Preferred:

• Previous Ford experience preferred.
• Previous experience or training in F&I.

• The ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• The ability to occasionally perform repetitive motion tasks such as pushing snow off of surfaces as high as 7 feet.
• The ability to drive 100 miles one way.
• The ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including temperatures above 80 and below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
• The ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• The ability to sit for an extended period of time.
