Finance Lead, FP&A Commercial/FP&A Intelligence Finance at a glance….
You will own the FP&A Intelligence capability within the Finance Capability & Technology, FP&A/Commercial pillar at Kraft Heinz. That means building the AI-powered analytics, automation, and agent layer that transforms how the company plans, forecasts, and reports — from annual budgeting and long-range planning to monthly variance analysis and BU-level finance support. You will be hands-on in the build, report to the Associate Director, and deliver intelligence that BU CFOs, the CFO organization, and finance business partners use to make faster, better-informed decisions. You are not here to produce reports. You are here to build the system that makes manual FP&A work obsolete.
What’s on the menu?
- Architect and own the FP&A Intelligence capability end-to-end — budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, variance analysis, corporate consolidation, and BU-level finance support, all automated and agent-powered on Snowflake Cortex
- Build and maintain AI agents tailored to FP&A workflows — automating forecast pack generation, variance commentary, budget consolidation, LRP scenario modeling, and ad-hoc finance requests from BU CFOs
- Automate the month-end close and forecast cycle for corporate FP&A — replace manual Excel consolidations, commentary templates, and reporting packs with scheduled, validated, pipeline-driven outputs
- Own SAP/S4 and Snowflake data pipelines feeding FP&A analytics — P&L structures, cost center hierarchies, plan vs. actual data — ensuring integrity, traceability, and auditability at every layer
- Build self-serve FP&A intelligence tools for BU finance business partners — dashboards, scenario models, and agent interfaces that finance teams can use without requiring the central FP&A team in the room
- Partner with Commercial Intelligence Leads to ensure FP&A and commercial data are connected — so that volume, revenue, and cost signals flow coherently into planning and forecasting outputs
- Translate complex FP&A questions into scalable, repeatable solutions that finance business partners can use without your direct involvement
- Contribute architectural patterns and automation frameworks to the broader Finance AI roadmap, shared across all four Finance AI pillars
Recipe for Success – apply now if this sounds like you!
- I have 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, finance analytics, or data engineering — with meaningful depth in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a large organization
- I have hands-on experience with Snowflake or an equivalent cloud data platform; Snowflake Cortex or LLM API experience is strongly preferred
- I can build automated analytics pipelines — not just consume them; Python, SQL, and Power BI are part of my day-to-day
- I have designed or deployed AI agents, copilots, or LLM-powered tools in a finance or enterprise context — this is a strong differentiator
- I am deeply familiar with SAP/S4 FP&A data structures — P&L hierarchies, cost centers, profit centers, plan versions — and how they feed into financial reporting and planning systems
- I understand FP&A mechanics deeply — budget cycles, rolling forecasts, LRP, variance drivers, and how BU CFOs actually use financial information to make decisions
- I am comfortable owning a roadmap in a matrixed, fast-moving environment without complete requirements handed to me
- I have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or CFA is a plus
