Job Description Finance Experienced Professional - FP&A Operations Join our Baker Hughes Team! We are looking for a Finance Experienced Professional to join our FP&A Operations team. The role will support financial closing, reporting, planning, compliance, and process improvement activities while partnering with business and controllership teams. The candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, accounting fundamentals, and a continuous improvement mindset. Partner with the best As a Finance Experienced Professional, you will be responsible for: 1. FP&A Operations Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Drive timely and accurate financial reporting and performance analysis. Own reporting packs, management reviews, and financial dashboards. Partner with business leaders and finance stakeholders to provide actionable insights. 2. Closing & Reporting Manage month-end and quarter-end closing activities. Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial results. Coordinate with controllership and business teams for closure of financial books. Deliver reporting within defined timelines and compliance requirements. 3. General Ledger & RTR Perform GL review and account reconciliations. Support Record-to-Report (RTR) processes. Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal controls. 4. P&L Ownership Support end-to-end P&L reviews and variance analysis. Analyze revenue, cost, margin, and productivity metrics. Drive forecasting accuracy and identify risks and opportunities. Provide recommendations to improve business performance. 5. Audit & Compliance Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors. Support audit requests and documentation requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and governance requirements. Track and close audit observations and action items. 6. Balance Sheet Review Perform periodic balance sheet reviews and reconciliations. Validate account balances, provisions, accruals, and reserves. Identify risks and drive corrective actions. Ensure strong balance sheet governance and hygiene. 7.Transformation & Process Improvement Participate in finance transformation initiatives. Drive automation, standardization, and simplification projects. Leverage digital tools and AI-based solutions to improve efficiency. Support implementation of best practices across finance processes. 8.Technical Skills ERP & Financial Systems SAP (Mandatory) Oracle (Preferred) Digital & Analytics Tools Advanced Excel Power BI Finance Automation & AI Tools Data Analytics and Visualization Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge Analytical and problem-solving skills Stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Attention to detail and ownership mindset Continuous improvement orientation Team player with a collaborative approach Strong work ethic and positive attitude CA with 2-5 years of relevant finance experience. Prior experience in FP&A Operations, Closing & Reporting, RTR, Financial Reporting, or Controllership finance functions. Experience working in a multinational environment is preferred. Hands-on exposure to SAP, Power BI, and reporting automation initiatives. Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements and operational excellence.
