The Role: The Finance Director is responsible for directing and overseeing the financial operations of Rock Creek Foundation (RCF) and its subsidiary, CCRN Educational & Behavioral Supports (CCRN). This role provides hands-on financial leadership, ensures strong internal controls, accurate reporting, and regulatory compliance, and serves as the primary internal financial lead for both entities.

This individual will work collaboratively with our sister company's (Santé) Finance Team and CFO to ensure alignment, consistency, and accuracy across shared financial processes, while maintaining direct responsibility for RCF and CCRN’s day-to-day financial management, reporting, and fiscal oversight.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Note: This role does not directly supervise finance staff, as accounting and transactional functions are performed by Santé. The Director is responsible for oversight, monitoring, validation, and accountability of deliverables produced by Santé’ Finance Team and serves as RCF/CCRN’s primary internal financial authority.

Must be able to work individually as well as within a team. Must be able to multi-task. Must be able to work with “high-risk” consumers who have mental illnesses as well as developmental and physical disabilities (ie: must have patience, and must be able to effectively communicate with diverse consumers, etc.). Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend long hours using office equipment and computers and must occasionally lift and/or move supplies and materials. This is a busy position with constant activity and interruptions, which will require the employee to meet with others on a regular basis. Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to normal office conditions, as well as outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. The employee may be required to ride in a vehicle for extended periods of time and walk to wherever it is necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities. Driving/Travel
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have access to a vehicle to use for business purposes. The employee must possess a valid Driver’s License and proof of current automobile insurance. Travel up to 25–50% between RCF and CCRN locations.
