Finance Director

An Irish retail group is seeking to hire a Director of Finance. With a strong commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth, the client is seeking an all‑rounded and strategic Finance Director to lead our Finance function and play a pivotal role in driving the Group's long‑term performance.

Job Description

• Leading the overall financial strategy, planning, and analysis for the business
• Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations
• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
• Take a leadership role in organisational transformation projects
• Managing cash flow and optimising financial performance
• Providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth and profitability
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organisational goals
• Managing and developing the accounting and finance team to ensure operational excellence
• Identifying and mitigating financial risks to safeguard company interests

• ACA, ACCA, CPA or CiMA qualified
• Minimum 15-20 years of relevant experience, ideally with retail experience
• Proven leadership capability with experience overseeing the full finance functions as a team lead
• Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and ability to work in a dynamic, growth‑driven environment
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
