Finance Director Livestock Feed (N16)

Position Purpose

The Finance Director Livestock Feed (FD LF) is the senior Finance leader for the Livestock Feed Business Line. The role serves as strategic Finance Business Partner to the COO Livestock Feed, supporting profitable growth, disciplined execution, and financial transparency across the global Livestock Feed organization.

The FD LF is responsible for financial leadership across all Livestock Feed BUs and OpCos, ensuring consistent performance steering, strong governance, and effective Finance Business Partnering.

All Business Unit Finance Directors and senior Finance Managers within Livestock Feed report into this role. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is a member of the Finance Leadership Team.

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Finance Business Partnering

• Partner with the COO Livestock Feed and Business Line Leadership Team on strategy, pricing, portfolio choices, and commercial effectiveness.
• Translate Livestock Feed priorities into a financial roadmap supporting margin improvement and profitable growth.
• Provide insight‑driven challenge and guidance on strategic and operational decisions.

Financial Performance Management

• Own consolidated financial performance of the Livestock Feed Business Line across regions and BUs.
• Drive robust forecasting, planning, and performance review processes, focusing on value over volume.
• Enhance commercial and cost transparency to support better decision‑making.

Capital & Resource Allocation

• Lead financial evaluation, governance, and prioritization of investments within Livestock Feed.
• Ensure alignment between capital deployment, strategic priorities, and operational capacity.
• Drive accountability for financial returns on major initiatives and programs.

Leadership of Finance Community

• Lead and develop the global Livestock Feed Finance community, including BU Finance Directors.
• Build Finance capability in commercial partnering, analytics, and influence.
• Ensure consistent standards, roles, and decision rights across the Finance matrix.

Governance & Control

• Ensure adherence to Nutreco finance policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Corporate Finance, FP&A, and Finance Operations on reporting and controls.
• Manage financial risks and ensure transparency across Livestock Feed activities.
