Export/Import Compliance Analyst

PGS Worldwide is seeking an Export/Import Compliance Analyst for a fully remote approximately six-month contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will support global trade compliance by preparing and administering export/import authorizations, reviewing documentation for regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate records related to investigations, disclosures, and other compliance matters. Candidates able to work Eastern Time hours are preferred.

Required Skills

• Experience with export trade licensing, export compliance, import compliance, or U.S. customs requirements.
• Working knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Working knowledge of Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Knowledge of U.S. import and/or customs regulations.
• Experience managing compliance, legal, or regulatory files, records, deadlines, and documentation.
• Experience creating and maintaining effective tracking tools.
• Experience supporting projects involving legal matters, audits, assessments, investigations, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive compliance matters.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, submit, and administer required export and import authorizations.
• Coordinate export and import activities in accordance with company policy and applicable U.S. Government regulations.
• Review trade-compliance documentation for adherence to export and import requirements.
• Support compliance reviews involving ITAR, EAR, and U.S. customs regulations.
• Maintain files and records associated with compliance investigations.
• Track matters involving potential noncompliance.
• Support ad hoc compliance requests and disclosures.
• Create and maintain tracking tools for regulatory and legal matters.
• Support audits, assessments, investigations, and other Global Trade compliance projects.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide additional support to Global Trade leadership as assigned.

Work Schedule / Shift

• Fully remote.
• Eastern Time working hours.
• 9/80 work schedule.
• Typical hours approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• No travel required.

Pay

• $46.49 per hour.
