Europe Senior Accountant

The Europe Accountant will be involved in several finance processes across the region including monthly management accounts, reporting, cashflow, budgeting and forecasting processes. They will be a strong team player with a robust understanding of accounting principles and processes and strong MS Excel knowledge. Professional working proficiency in English and Czech language is essential. Main Responsibilities Monthly reporting and forecasting of assigned company in line with region/group deadlines and year end reporting. Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting financial analysis and commentary Review of AR and AP transactions to ensure their accuracy and compliance Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts of assigned entity Ensuring tax and VAT compliance and statutory reporting requirements are met Preparation of the weekly/monthly cashflow forecast to ensure an accurate representation of future cashflows and balances. Supporting integration of new entities, preparing templates, process notes, training materials, assisting with required system set up in place e.g. new entity or cost centre, gathering information on user access rights required, updating consolidated template to include the new information. Preparation of yearly budget and monthly forecasting process with supporting documentation and commentary Working on ad-hoc projects including new systems implementations, business acquisitions, cross border projects etc. Work across Europe Finance team to support whole team as necessary. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. Key Stakeholders RFD, RMD, RFC, Country MDs and Cost centre leads Europe Finance Group Finance Key Requirements Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or local equivalent) with 4+yrs post qualification experience Strong Excel and MS office knowledge Confident individual with good interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels Accuracy and high-level attention to detail Robust understanding of accounting principles and processes Professional working proficiency in English and Czech  language Turner & Townsend recognise the fact that our employees are the key to our future growth.
