Director, Strategic Supplier Management & Procurement

Develop enterprise Procurement systems, tools, and processes to deliver materials, goods, and services to the Company worldwide, using a data-driven approach and a Total Cost of Ownership mindset. Create a global organization structure that provides strongest local service and accountability to manufacturing, R&D and other enterprise functions. Develop integral relationships with key partners such as Planning, Finance, Facilities to provide best in class services delivering highest overall value to the Organization.  Job duties:
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. A minimum of twelve (12) years of professional experience in procurement.
  3. A minimum of five (5) years of management experience.
  4. Expert knowledge of ERP, purchase order/payment systems, and MRP systems.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Demonstrated technical acumen within medical device implants and delivery systems.
  7. Proficient with MS Office Suite, e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
Desired Qualifications
  1. MBA
  2. Strong organizational skills and experience developing procurement processes in a medium-large size operation. Demonstrated ability to work closely and profitably with a broad set of stakeholders: Finance, Quality, R&D, and Manufacturing functions.
  3. Extensive knowledge of the procurement and materials management fields.
  4. Working experience with SAP and Ariba.
  5. Experience networking with the supplier base that supports medical device implants and delivery systems.
