Why This Role Matters:

Group 1001 is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director, Reinsurance Accounting to lead our reinsurance financial operations, oversee the end-to-end accounting of complex reinsurance structures, and ensure compliance with statutory and internal reporting requirements. This role will lead a team responsible for accurate and timely accounting, analysis, and reporting of reinsurance treaties, including XOL, quota share, facultative, and retrocession agreements. This leadership position is critical to driving process improvements, internal controls, and collaboration across finance, actuarial, legal, underwriting, and third-party reinsurers.  This role will ultimately report to the Chief Accounting Officer.
