What You Can Expect

Role Overview

Marvell is seeking a Director, Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) to lead the design, governance, and continuous evolution of global procurement capabilities. This role will establish enterprise standards, enable digital and AI‑driven transformation, and drive data‑backed performance across the end‑to‑end strategic sourcing and procurement lifecycle. The Director will serve as the strategic backbone of the Procurement organization, enabling category teams through scalable processes, advanced analytics, AI capabilities, and strong supplier engagement models aligned with Marvell’s business objectives.

Global Process & Policy Governance

• Define, govern, and continuously improve global procurement processes, policies, and internal controls

• Establish governance models, decision rights, and clear escalation paths

• Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and internal control requirements

• Balance enterprise-wide standardization with regional and business flexibility

AI-Enabled Procurement

• Define and execute Procurement’s AI strategy in alignment with enterprise AI governance

• Identify, pilot, and scale AI use cases (e.g., spend classification, sourcing optimization, supplier risk sensing, market intelligence)

• Ensure responsible AI use through robust data governance, controls, and transparency

• Partner with IT, Legal, and Data teams to manage AI risk, security, and compliance

• Track and communicate value realization across efficiency, cost savings, and risk outcomes

Spend, Savings & Performance Analytics

• Build and govern enterprise spend analytics, savings methodologies, and KPI frameworks

• Standardize savings validation and benefit-tracking across the organization

• Deliver actionable insights to support sourcing strategy and executive reporting

• Drive predictive and prescriptive analytics through advanced tools and AI

Supplier Management, Risk & ESG

• Design and govern Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks and segmentation models

• Enable supplier collaboration, innovation, and performance management

• Embed supplier risk, resilience, ESG, and responsible sourcing into procurement operations

• Lead continuous improvement and change management across key procurement transformation initiatives

Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as a trusted advisor to Procurement leadership and executive stakeholders

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Procurement CoE team

• Drive alignment and influence across a global, matrixed organization

• Build organizational capability through playbooks, training, and change enablement programs

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

• 12+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or business transformation

• Demonstrated experience leading procurement governance, digital transformation, or CoE initiatives

• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills

• Proven track record driving enterprise-scale change with measurable outcomes

Preferred

• Experience in the technology sector or complex global procurement environments

• Deep knowledge of procurement platforms, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled procurement tools

• Experience with supplier risk programs, ESG, and sustainability frameworks

• Proven success operating in a global, matrixed organization

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

160,650 - 240,700, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
