Position Summary:
The Director, Accounting – Finance Transformation & Special Projects is a key leader on the accounting team, reporting directly to the Global Controller with and regular close partnership with the CFO, this individual will drive the function's most strategic and complex initiatives from concept through completion. Accounting special projects will strengthen the Company’s global accounting organization during a critical period of growth, transformation, and strategic change. With an eye on the accounting and finance technology roadmap, including the selection and implementation of new systems and introduction of AI, this role is ideal for a strong accounting leader with project management skills who enjoys integrating technology and processes to solve complex problem. The Director will build and manage a team of two Senior Accountants and partner with both internal cross-functional teams as well as external vendors and consultants. Job Responsibilities:
- Lead high-priority, cross-functional finance and accounting initiatives from planning through delivery, owning scope, timeline, resourcing, and outcomes.
- Own the accounting and finance technology roadmap, selecting and implementing new systems and continuously finding better ways toleverageour ERP (NetSuite) and other tools to maximize value, streamline workflows, and enhance how the functionoperates.
- Lead the team's AI initiative,establishingthe foundation for adoption, selecting the right solutions,identifyinghigh-value use cases, implementing them withappropriate guardrails, and training teammates on effective, responsible use.
- Develop the future-state Finance Transformation team, including organizational design, talent acquisition, capability development, and leadership of a dedicated team as the function expands.
- Serve as a key participant in the accounting and finance integration of acquisitions, onboardingacquiredentities, aligning their processes and systems with company standards, and ensuringaccurate,timelyincorporation into our reporting.
- Manage and develop two Senior Accountants, growing their careers while ensuring the team consistently meets deadlines and delivers outstanding outcomes.
- Manage software vendors, consulting partners, and other service providers supporting special projects, ensuring they understand our business and systems, agreeing on scope, and partnering with them to deliver projects on time and to an outstanding standard.
- Partner with other departments to strengthen the processes and controls behind the data we rely upon, ensuring upstream inputs aretimely,accurate, and complete to safeguard the integrity of our financial outputs.
- Build deep, market-by-market knowledge of statutory, operational, and compliance requirements across all jurisdictions, in addition to a strong understanding of the BNI CRM and its data, to ensure our technology is configured and data flows correctly into our ERP to meet each market's needs and maintain the integrity of our financial statements.

- Reliable financial data integrity.Data flows accurately from source systems and the BNI CRM into the ERP, and cross-departmental inputs are consistentlytimely,accurate, and complete.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, ora relatedfield.
- Active CPA license.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from planning through completion.
- Demonstrated success leading organizational change, technology adoption, or business transformation initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong technical accounting foundation with solid knowledge of US GAAP and its practical application to new arrangements, systems, and business activities.
- Demonstrated experience implementing andoptimizingfinancial systems (ERP and related applications).
- Proven people-leadership experience, witha track recordof managing, mentoring, and developing accounting staff.
- Excellentproject-managementskills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, meet deadlines, and hold internal and external partners accountable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues and recommend solutions to senior leadership.
- Experience managing external vendors, consultants, and service providers on scope, timeline, and deliverables.
