We're currently looking for two Credit Analysts - one to join our Willmar branch and another to join our Cokato branch - because we're growing! This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented, organized professional, who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure a smooth and accurate lending experience!
What You'll Do
As a Credit Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting our Lending department, by evaluating the creditworthiness of commercial and agriculture loan applicants to help ensure sound lending decisions that align with the bank's risk standards and community-focused mission. In this role you will:
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports for loan applicants.
- Prepare detailed credit memos, including financial spreads, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment.
- Assess borrower repayment capacity, collateral adequacy, and overall credit risk.
- Assist with loan reviews and audits as needed.
- Follow all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-driven, and committed to delivering excellent service. An ideal candidate will have a customer-first mindset, as well as the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance or accounting preferred.
- 1-2 years of related experience, ideally within a community bank.
- Experience with loan origination systems (e.g., Meridian Link, Encompass, or similar) preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
- Available to travel as business needs require.
- This job requires skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes computer skills, communications skills, as well as utilization of office equipment.

Salary Range [based on experience]: $25.00-35.00
